George McCann is an American filmmaker & photographer living in Bergen, Norway.

With a passion for images since youth, my professional journey began in the niche and vibrant atmosphere of New York City’s underground music scene. Following several successful shoots, I was fortunate enough to secure a contract with Live Nation, where my skills were honed as one of the resident house photographers for Irving Plaza and The Gramercy Theatre. Notable subjects include musical legends and Grammy winners, such as members of the Rolling Stones, Allman Brothers Band, Gregory Allan Isakov, and The Roots, amongst others. My first documentary titled, Firefighter Goats, is currently in post-production and was funded by the Norwegian Film Institute, Vestnorsk, and the Fund for Sound and Image. Next film projects include a narrative short film, alongside a six-episode docu-series. I am currently available for assignment and private hire.
